HIRI Welcomes Pat Cary as Engagement Manager
The Home Improvement Research Institute (HIRI) and The Farnsworth Group are glad to welcome Pat Cary as HIRI's Engagement Manager.
As Engagement Manager, Pat will help members get more out of the research they fund, making sure the studies most relevant to each business reach decision-makers in time to shape their choices. Pat will work with members to surface the research that matters most to each business. He will also help members connect and learn from one another over time.
Pat brings nine years of research and analytics experience to the role. He spent his most recent years at Gartner, where he advised chief information officers and security leaders on strategy and risk. He also led market intelligence work at the Advisory Board Company, where he built service line strategy and capital allocation analyses for hospital executives. He holds a Master of Public Policy from the University of Virginia's Frank Batten School and a Bachelor of Arts in Foreign Affairs.
"I have seen how much value gets left on the table when strong research does not reach the right people at the right time," said Pat Cary, HIRI's Engagement Manager. "HIRI created this role to close that gap. I am energized to take it on and to work alongside this team."
HIRI research has shaped how leading home improvement brands understand the market for more than four decades. Pat steps into that legacy at a moment when members want more tailored impact from research.
Pat lives in the Denver area, where he captains a men's tennis team and coaches tennis at a local high school. When he is off the court, he enjoys backpacking and skiing.
Please join us in welcoming Pat to HIRI and The Farnsworth Group.
