Project Decision Study - 2025
For more than 20 years, the Home Improvement Research Institute (HIRI) has delivered trusted insights through the Project Decision Study, helping industry leaders understand how homeowners plan, fund, and complete home improvement projects. The current research release focuses on mid- to large-scale projects of $5,000 or more across 47 project types spanning interior finishes, exterior envelope, major renovations, mechanical and systems, and yard, garden, and outdoor categories.
