The focus of the 95-page ‘2015 Detail Tracking Study of Consumer Internet Usage for Home Improvement Activities’ study was to conduct a survey exploring the impact of the internet on the home improvement industry.  The study’s objectives includes identification of important trends in consumer use of the Internet to research and purchase home improvement products, as well as furnishing demographic data on Internet home improvement shoppers and information on key barriers to online purchasing.

 A total of 309 respondents completed the survey with 165 that purchased a home improvement product online during the past year.  This survey is now conducted every other year and the report includes comparisons back to 2005.
