2015 Contractor Study

HIRI has studied the remodeling professional on a biennial basis since 1991. This current version of this tracking study dates back to 1999. The 1,465 sample included both Generalists, as well as Specialists. 

Qualified respondents included purchase decision makers earning their livings doing professional remodeling work in their specified trades. Generalists had 75% or more of their project work from remodeling existing residential structures, Specialists at least 25%.
